Volunteers

Here’s just a few of our project volunteers:

Poss Architecture + Planning

Chris Ridings | Architect, Partner, LEED AP

Chris joined Poss in 1993 and quickly became a coveted member of the team. After graduating from the University of Kansas in 1984, he worked in construction and for a few other firms, first gaining hands-on experience with the construction process and then its relationship to architecture. Chris has experienced project development at all levels, from field work to project management, and maintains a firm belief that excellence in architecture results from thorough communications and team work. Chris has a strong interest in the environment as it relates to architecture and is LEED AP certified.

Curtis Vaughn

A native of Colorado, Curtis’ passion for architecture and design stemmed from his experience working closely with his father as a finish carpenter on many residential homes, historic commercial renovations and mid-rise institutional facilities. He received a BS in Environmental Design with an emphasis on Architecture from the University of Colorado. Prior to arriving at Poss and the Roaring Fork Valley in 2008, Curtis worked at leading firms in Denver and Dubuque, Iowa, focusing on hospitality and institutional work. His role as a designer on The Elevation Hotel & Spa in Crested Butte, job captain on the Port of Dubuque Mixed Use Development, and a project manager on The University of Dubuque Stoltz Sports Center are among a few of his accolades. His experience assuming multiple roles in the design and building process allows Curtis to approach projects from multiple perspectives and deliver creative solutions.
